"Option B", a plan to construct a new main headquarters for Pike County Public Library on the East Harford Street property owned by the library, will be presented on Monday, August 2nd at the monthly Milford Borough Council meeting, starting at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. The meeting will be held in the Milford Borough Hall, located on West Catharine Street in Milford.
Pike County Public Library is having a 50 /50 raffle. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. The drawing will take place on August 21st. Currently, we have sold more than $600.00 worth of tickets. So hurry in and take a chance on winning 50% of the sales in this raffle. The other half of the proceeds will benefit the operational cost of the library for 2010. As always we thank for your support.
The Site Committee of the Pike County Public Library has recommended, and the Library Board has voted to enter into discussions for, the purchase of the Biondo Foundation building at 221 Broad St. as the location for a new Milford library. The Site Committee reached its recommendation unanimously, following six months of careful review and due diligence on five possible options for a new Milford library facility...
