Thanks to a grant from the Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA), over the past few months the library has been able to purchase updated print, audio and video materials for our Health and Wellness collection. You’ll find a wide variety of topics including diet and nutrition, children’s health, exercise, mental and behavioral issues, senior health, and timely general health concerns such as obesity, heart disease, and diabetes. Some our newest additions are exercise DVDs for beginner through advanced levels, featuring cardio, yoga, pilates, walking, aerobics, chair exercises and more. Stop by our Milford Branch to browse through the new items, or visit our website, www.pcpl.org to place a reserve. (Remember to check with your physician before beginning any exercise program.)
